I am Mark Quade. I am a photographer, web designer and writer. And a database engineer by day.

I studied architecture at Cal Poly Pomona and Photojournalism and commercial photography at CSU Fullerton.

My images are created with my own technique employing pre and post processing, and using today’s cutting edge technology in digital imagery. My passion is interior/exterior architecture, location shooting and creative studio photography. I also enjoy graphic design and fine art. My portfolio includes samples of some of my favorite images, published images, faux movie posters and other stuff, and it keeps growing.

I went to “magic” school when I was very young. I had dreams of being a performing magician, doing stage and close-up. That dream didn’t go very far, however, I remember being very fascinated with illusions that involved light. How a subject can change dramatically, to the point that it magically transforms into something it is not, or reveals something protected or hidden, when the source light is applied in a different manner. It still intrigues me. The art of photography capitalizes on this “magic.” Light always catches my attention, even when I am not behind a camera. If I am able to capture prize moments a subject is presented in light that grabs my attention, then I can always be the magician of my childhood dream.
